His lists tend to focus on artists who’ve made significant contributions to their respective fields yet haven’t, for whatever reason, had their work registered in the archive. This isn’t something every member of Congress does, but Castro seems focused on finding opportunities to feel useful while serving in the governing minority, which can otherwise be frustrating.
