Q: Is it true that Baylor University once banned Willie Nelson from its campus? As a Waco native and proud Baylor grad, I’ve long been mocked by fans and alums of certain other Texas universities (two in particular come to mind) about this piece of Texas lore. Is this true? More importantly, what can green-and-gold clad Willie fans do to overturn the ban?
