As President Trump’s multimillion-dollar military parade and festival commenced in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, “No Kings” marches—billed by organizers as a rejection of authoritarianism—filled the streets of cities nationwide. In Texas, protesters marched in dozens of cities, from El Paso to Beaumont, Brownsville to Wichita Falls, waving flags and signs objecting to the administration’s policies.
