In picking a career in barbecue over a cushy job as a supervisor at an East Texas gas plant, Clyde Osborn chose the harder path. Last year a different company started running the gas plant and offered Osborn a lower salary. “I was looking for a reason anyway,” Osborn said about his decision to quit.
