I live in Buda, and I’ll be the first to admit that my city doesn’t always make the best first impression. As Interstate 35 wends its congested path southwest of Austin, passersby may experience this fast-growing suburb as merely rows of fast-food joints, industrial warehouses, and gas stations that dot the highway.
